G+_Ed H
While setting up a video wall, I came across a few companies in the UK that design Digital Signage using Rasberry Pi - http://www.raspberrypi.org/guest-post-from-designspark-oxford-raspberry-jam/ http://www.targetr.net/raspberry-pi-player http://www.silvercurve.co.uk/ . Here is a very helpful blog for digital signage. http://www.sixteen-nine.net/2013/12/13/10-slices-raspberry-pi-digital-signage/ I have briefly looked at the Rise Vision platform. Most Digital Signage platforms want you to get on the cloud subscription based platform.... I would prefer one out license because I only use the video wall for conventions. I cannot tell you anything about the others, I was looking for video wall configuration software.
G+_Travis Hershberger
Now that binaries aren't available for the Fedora version, I like Raspbian (Debian). Debian is known for having every package you could think of in their repositories already, which makes it much easier to get things running.
