+Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ and +Bryan Burnett . Just found out flying quad copter is a blast. I bought a nano drone for my kid and ended up flying it myself (I'll buy him a new one).

 

When I find places to fly quads in Yokohama I'll get myself a trainer. Anyone who can point me where to fly is welcome.

Get yourself a Syma X5 -- You can fly it outdoors AND indoors. :) 

 

Great way to learn how to fly the big boys.

That looks like a re branded Cheerson cx-10. When you're confident, take off the prop guard. The difference is noticeable.

 

Also, the throttle on the little ones are super touchy compared to the Syma. This is a good thing, as you'll be over-trained in throttle control when you upgrade!

I'll be buying a syma in a month so I'll practice with this one for a while. 

 

I'm flying indoors so Im afraid to remove the propguard. when I dont crash all the time, its coming off
