G+_David Kloempken
Ok Two Questions, One what is the best way to back up my data from a Samsung Gallaxy S3. And then move it to a new phone I'm leaning toward a Samsung Gallaxy Note 5. Second question Is the note 5 still the best phone out there? Anything rumored in the next month or so that I should wait for? (btw, Verizon is the carrier)
G+_shamara Lewis
If you are going to get another samsung, use samsung smart switch on computer or you can use the app with both phones together
G+_Joseph Cappellino
1) Helium Backup from ClockworkMod? works great. No root required. 2) If you're looking for the best phablet, you should look at the Nexus 6P. I haven't heard a single bad thing about it. Camera, performance, and stock Android all in a beautiful package.
G+_shane jewitt
The note 5 is in fact the best device money can buy. Build quality and specs are very good. Far better than the new nexus.
G+_shane jewitt
I currently own the s6 edge.
G+_Dan Satalino
Moving to the Note 5 from an SIII, is a huge jump in size. It's a great phone but it's big. You have probably checked it out at the Verizon store so you'll know what you're getting into. You won't be able to get the 6P yet for Verizon because they haven't certified it yet and since you're SIII uses a Micro SIM and the 6P uses a Nano SIM, you won't be able to activate a 6P on Verizon at the present time. I have the S6 Edge. It's awesome and just the right size for me. The S6 is fine though. There is no compelling reason to spend the extra money for the Edge other than it looks cool. Good luck, you'll love anything today compared to a SIII?
G+_shane jewitt
S6 and s6 edge also have a nano sim. Any sim card can be replaced with the correct size and have your same number. Every network do it.
G+_shane jewitt
If your upgrading from an s3 you'll be needing a different sim card anyway. You'll need a new sim card depending on the phone your getting.
G+_Dan Satalino
But he's on Verizon, and they haven't certified the 6P for their network (even though many people who already have a Verizon nano Sim have used it on their network with no problems), he won't be able to get a nano Sim his account without activating the phone in the store and he won't be able to do that if it's not certified yet
G+_shane jewitt
Oh rite. Im from England. That kind of thing dont exist here. I can get any size sim from any network for any phone from any country any time. Verizon dont exist in england.
G+_Dan Satalino
Verizon has great 4G Coverage in the US but they're expensive and they don't care about their customers. For years they criticized T-Mobile but now Verizon is copying T-Mo's plans, features, and offers. It's almost midnight. Good night G+.
G+_shane jewitt
Its 5:16am here lol. 4G is covered by most networks here now. 3 network and EE being the biggest two in England. Im coming to the end of a 13 hour shift of work.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
He could use a SIM cutting tool to go from micro to nano.
G+_shane jewitt
Joseph Cappellino yes good thinking. As long as his existing sim will pick up a 4G signal though.
G+_Michael Atkinson
Can't go wrong with the Note 5, I love this phone and I am very critical of phones. First Note, but it has made me a huge fan. Getting 6.0 next month too, so go for it.. won't regret it.
