G+_Gilbert Knarr
Hey fellow K.IT.As, I need some video editing help. I had the rare experience of stepping out of my shop to a 7' or so (including tail, I'm not sure how they are measured) gator. And got to video the capture by Fish and Wildlife for release in a safer place. But my phone wasn't on auto rotate so the video is sideways. Is there a free or inexpensive software that will allow me to rotate it? I haven't done anything more than simple cutting before. Thanks for your input. ? http://K.IT
G+_610GARAGE
Youtube's editor will do it if you're just going to upload it there anyway. If you have windows, windows movie maker should do it. I never used it, but it would be stupid for it not to have that option. If you don't mind command line ffmpeg would do it. ffmpeg.org stackoverflow.com/questions/3937387/rotating-videos-with-ffmpeg There is also hitfilm express. Thats WAY more editor than what you need, but it's an option. hitfilm.com/express
G+_Jason Eckelstafer
I think pretty much all editors will adjust the resolution for you like you're looking for. My goto is Camtasia, pretty expensive but simple to do advanced stuff.
