G+_Nathan K
What type of paint did you use? Does it make it more visible in the air. Mine just looks white so I have issue telling the front from the back. Can you show pictures, step by step guide to dis-assembly and reassembly of the transmitter? I think you are replacing the antenna and I would like to do the same.

G+_Bryan Burnett
I used some "High Viz" paint we had in the TWiT basement. And yes it makes it much more visible in the air with no noticeable performance hit. The paint has chipped on one of the orange propellers but that might be from my poor painting abilities or something with the paint. Also you're in luck! I'll was hesitant to talk about the antenna hack incase i screwed it up. But fortunately it works, and tomorrow i will be seeing just how much better the range is. G+_Nathan K
Bryan Burnett? If your antenna hack works will you do a step by step on KH? If not can you post a walk through on your page?

G+_Bryan Burnett
Hey Harold Smith I responded on Twitter, but i'll reply here also just in case. You're exactly right with the grounding. Right next to the old antenna is another empty pad. That's where you want to solder your ground. Hope that helps, next time I do a video I'll try and do a better job of showing. It's really hard to solder and film at the same time :P and thanks for watching!
