Where's the Plow ?

VSCO Cam on Nexus 5

We use a landscaping service that functions as a rehabilitation service, helping adult men clear their systems, attitudes, and yes, maybe their records, through a regimen of clean living---and hard work. But in the past they did plow first, then complete manually. Today it was just a small crew of men---and snow shovels vs. a big snow covered parking lot. The men won. Hope the regimen of clean living allows aspirin

Shot the pic with Nexus 5. Mine has not received camera update & improvements in 4.4.1 that is rolling out this week.

Used the VSCO Can App that just jumped from iOS to Android and was recommended by Jason Howell on "All About Android" this week. Like all camera apps, it accesses the camera through core OS calls, but VSCO doesn't tap the stock Nexus 5 camera's best feature: HDR+

So the VSCO Cam pic is meh. VSCO Cam is all about post-processing with pre-set but still adjustable filters. Perhaps makes more sense in iPhone 5s with truly excellent (for phone) camera. Perhaps the incoming update will elevate N5 into iPhone camera class. In the meantime, I don't see in my brief efforts so far with VSCO that there's any reason to buy its extra filters (which I did, $6), VSCO is free and comes with some filters to test.

Starting with the base VSCO N5 shot, I found no joy in the VSCO filters. I ended up using the familiar editing tools in Pic Say Pro to adjust this shot. I have Google Auto Awesome OFF.?
