From what I've researched, the feature isn't available out of the US.. sucks big time.. been waiting on in home intercom feature or as they call it drop in for a bit..

Yes, same feature I want to use - a simple intercom between upstairs Echo and downstairs Echo. I didn't know if there was some way of tricking the Echo to think it was in the US.

Is there a way to change country in the app? or maybe you'd have to go as far as changing location in your phone...

Tried that.. but I don't think that it has direct support for other countries.. also the conversation registration has the option for other countries but so far it hasn't sent me any text message for confirmation (I live in Trinidad)..
