From the makers of World of Goo comes a really weird game where there are no scores, no leader-boards, no multi player yet a very simple premise. The game is Little Inferno and I'm going to put it out there right now this game is not for everybody and would actually qualify for Ron Richards  type of crazy apps. 

 

So the object of the game is to sit in front of your fireplace buy things from a catalogue and then burn them which gives you money which in turn allows you to buy more things and then burn those get more money and the circle continues. As you play you realise your not entirely alone as you get messages from different persons, mainly Sugar Lumps who gives you clues about this dystopian future you are inhabiting.   The fun part of the game is finding out the different combinations you can make when you burn two or three things together. You will get the names of the combinations like lol kitty combo or Terrible Teeth combo. Did I also neglect to mention that you would be burning some weird stuff as well like a spider egg, discount sushi and locust eggs. Now their is an end game and I honestly believe you can reach it without making any combinations but by just burning everything from all the catalogues which means you can technically finish the game in an hour or so but the challenge is figuring out the combinations. 

 

I recommended this for persons who are looking for a unique game experience done in a very quirky fashion or for those of you in the colder climates who want an interactive virtual fireplace :)
