G+_Marlon Thompson
Tune in Radio suggestions I use in Tune in Radio Pro everyday and something interesting (yet creepy) happened last week.. As you know the World T20 Cricket series just completed this weekend Bangladesh (yeah I know you have no idea). And Tuesday my team, the West Indies played Pakistan for a place in the semis (we won that game) . Shortly after the match started I got a notification from Tune In asking me if I would like to listen to the match. Two days later Tune in did the same thing for the next match that we played (where we lost ...sob). I listened to both matches from within Tune in, but I received no update to listen to the finals yesterday as West Indies were already out of the competition. Now I have my Google account connected to Tune in, Google knows I follow the West Indies as cricket scores were recently enabled in Google Now but prior to last week I have never listened to Cricket on Tune in Radio. I don't know if Tune in used the fact that I live in the West Indies to give me that prompt but it was a little freaky while at the same time welcomed. Has ever experienced this where events you may be interested in, Tune in has recommended you listen to them now? Is Google sharing that info with Tune in via Google play services. G+_Jim Wall
I think it's most probably more to do with where you are on the planet rather than Google talking to tunein. Here on the west coast of Wales I get notifications of premiership football games once or twice a month even though I have no interest in football (much prefer rugby and F1)
