G+_Marlon Thompson
An Android Wear app to check out Originally shared by Marlon Thompson Having Wikipedia on your wrist is not as bad as it sounds Today I checked out a new Android Wear app called Attopedia and its basically Wikipedia on your wrist. Now initially when I saw the description I was wary but I think this is one of those apps that is important for Android Wear. So first off it is more of a mini wikipedia as it in many cases doesn't give you the full article from the web, however the one thing I find that it does that is very important is how it presents the information. If you look at the screenshots for the app you see that it sections off the content using really good UI allowing you to quickly grab the information you are looking for. This is important for Android Wear as devs are right now experimenting with ways to present content quickly and easily to the user. I would actually like some aspects of this app built into Google Searches that I do on the watch, and I can see IMDB doing something like this as when you search for an actor or a movie you are usually looking for key quick info such as when the movie came out , who were the actors, how old an actor is what other movie he has been in. So try out Attopedia, and devs take some inspiration from it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dheera.attopedia https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dheera.attopedia
