How do you get our homebuilt quads to have the same flight principles as the DJI Phantom?

 

I like it's automatic hold altitude controls. I like how if you let go of the controller, it holds position as if it was glued to the sky.

 

I like the way the DJI throttle works where it's always centered, and changing altitude is easy.

 

I'm guessing mod the transmitter to have a self centering throttle stick and use the same flight controller as DJI?

That would be the best way. Just have to pick the right Motor esc combo for flight times hou want
