G+_David Wiggins
While only a prototype, this if an impressive achievement for this form factor. But what caught my attention was the line : ”As SanDisk owners Western Digital points out, it was only 16 years ago that the company introduced its first 64 megabyte SD card, while two years ago they debuted the 512GB card, which was then the world's biggest. " Granted I admit to misreading the 512GB as MB at first, than going, wait, I had a 4 GB in my Wii ages ago. With that in mind, the two year time to double up is still impressive (though not as much so as the impossible jump my mind initially made) Also, many devices simply wouldn't be able to recognise that much storage (cameras come to mind). I also wonder how stable or could be. Still, a nifty achievement. http://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2016/9/20/12986234/biggest-sd-card-1-terabyte-sandisk
