Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ I was just watching the AquaVase Top episode (246) at work and noticed something about when you were joining the two segments.

 

If you sized your pilot hole (the one Brian's phone lit up) to match something like a pencil (or something printed, I suppose). You could then line up the holes simply by threading the pencil on both segments. If you have two matching holes on the parts to be joined, it makes it easier to join the segments.

As long as it's 'silicone safe' unlike Brian's phone (he was more trusting than i would have been)
