Saw this in my feed, and wonder if anyone here has done this, or has thoughts on what could be done different.

 

My first thought is if the same effect can be accomplished without a TV. I first thought maybe a projector, but that would likely cost more.

 

I can see traffic/weather from Now cards or such while brushing teeth and shaving. Or paired with g home or Alexa API.

I haven't built one yet, but have wanted to. My parents have a mirror on the wall in the entry way and I've always thought it would be cool (in a geeky cool way) to embed a camera and display - turn it into a virtual photo booth.

I have thought about building one for a long time then I received 2 Google homes for Christmas. I'm so impressed especially with the sound quality and how far the mics can pickup.
