Grow how-. Hydro gel from diapers mixed in the soil for watering and aerating the plants offer a longer period?

 

I've used the stuff to make I've packs, and seen the above suggested. Any thoughts?

Done it... It's just those super absorbent poly balls.

That makes sense. I lost one of my Carolina Reaper plants wintering at my dad's place. I think I'll give this a go.
