This is for places that Google does not recognise, for example I moved to a new house but the street address is not in Google Maps infact Google thinks that my home does not exist. When I tried to edit it, Google would always change my address to the closest street it recognised, with this change Google will now recognise my coordinates and keep it even if it thinks I am in the middle of nowhere.
