Correct me if I 'm wrong

Correct me if I'm wrong. I just found out that Comcast once again raise my rates and it got me to thinking. I am fully aware of the fact that the FCC overturned the net neutrality law but it occurred to me that I have been paying a higher rate for higher speed even before the net neutrality law was overturned. Why is it that the consumer had to pay more for higher-speed when the corporation's did not why is it that the consumer had to pay more for higher speed when the corporations did not? It seems that the consumer might have a class action lawsuit waiting to be filed.

The net neutrality rules that were rescinded did not set prices for services, so before or after the rules makes no difference.

In my experience it has always cost more for higher speeds with both consumer and commercial accounts.

It has always cost a service provider more to give a customer higher speeds. How much of the cost that is passed on to the customer is up to the service provider because we have a relatively free market in the USA (caveat, selling at less than cost to take market share from competitors is illegal).
