G+_Gregg Andrews
I recently discovered KH and want to build the KH250 quad. I know there are some issues recently with RTFQ, so I was wondering if someone could recommend another retailer I could order parts from - or recomend another part list for a build Or, if someone could point me some literature so I can better understand how to choose motors, ESC, etc, that would be even better. G+_Rob Yesta
You can try banggood and get the items to build a KH250. The brand could be different. If you need links to parts, myself and others can help. What is your background with quadcopters and RC? Do you need everything down to transmitter and battery charger? Do you want programs flight controller that requires computer or simple stand alone like the KK? Regroups.com has a lot of discussions and help with builds and selecting parts. G+_Gregg Andrews
I'll have to check out RCGroups as well. I already have a Transitter and batteries, so I am ok in that area. I need all the parts for the KH250 build. I've been slowly looking at some other sites and right now I only have the frame ordered. I need everything else. I am not sure what to choose the motors, ESC and PDB since I won't be ordering from RTFQ. For the Flight controller I was considering using the Full Naze or a CC3D board. Any insight there would also be welcomed.
G+_Rob Yesta
Here is the Naz32 I put in my 160. Came with pins soldered and plastic case. Real easy to program. And has altitude hold. http://www.banggood.com/Naze32-Flight-Controller-With-32-bit-STM32-for-Multicopter-10Dof-p-953849.html
G+_Rob Yesta
Specing your KH250 is your preference but here are some examples. Here are some ESCs that will require you to to power the fight controller with it's own 5v wires http://www.banggood.com/4X-FVT-LittleBee-20A-ESC-BLHeli-OPTO-2-4S-Supports-OneShot125-For-RC-Multirotors-p-1031934.html Buy single from US for more for 4 but ship in 1 week if in USA http://www.banggood.com/FVT-LittleBee-20A-ESC-BLHeli-OPTO-2-4S-Supports-OneShot125-For-RC-Multirotors-p-1007740.html Another popular I read about. I am not an ESC expert. http://www.banggood.com/DYS-SN20A-Mini-20A-SimonK-ESC-OPTO-2-4S-20-500Hz-for-Multicopters-p-974637.html Motors. Most people go with 2204 but Padre went insane mode with 2208 on KH250. You can get counter-clockwise motors. http://www.banggood.com/Emax-MT2204-2300KV-Brushless-Motor-For-QAV-250-p-946400.html Power distribution board http://www.banggood.com/Diatone-V7_0-Power-LED-HUB-BEC-5V-12V-For-RC-Multirotors-p-1024393.html Or All positive and all negative on one side for use soldering challenged. http://www.banggood.com/Diatone-V6_0-Power-HUB-BEC-5V-12V-LED-Switch-For-RC-Multirotors-p-1024394.html
