G+_James Hughes
So I'm upgrading my cheap Chinese laser cutter to add air assist. I'm planning on using a 12v fan (parts are here and 3d parts printed). I'm going to tap off from the led light strip in the back. Just metered them to find out they're 24 volt. Here's my question, can someone recommend a 24v to 12v converter? I've checked amazon and they have a bunch. I want to spend as little as possible. G+_Joe Valasko
You could use a small circuit converter (Buck Module or Adjustable Step-Down Module) such as the one in this link to adjust the 24 VDC down to your desired 12V provided your current/amperage draw is below the maximum rating of the small circuit converter. 1. Input voltage: 4.5-28V 2. Output Voltage: 0.8-20V 3. Output current: rated current 3A(MAX) aliexpress.com - 1PCS Ultra-Small Size DC-DC Step Down Power Supply Module 3A Adjustable Step-Down Module Replace LM2596 Buck Module
G+_James Hughes
Thanks Joe Valasko?, I like the price but aliexpress takes forever. I ended up spending a little more on amazon but it will be here tomorrow. I bought the laser cutter on ebay. Search for k40.
