G+_Dave Salvatore
This is probably not the best place to ask this and I hate to make this my first post, but does anyone know how to get out of the Facebook Password Email Loop? I'm trying to reset my password. It says it will send an email to reset but the email never comes. Then I tried using my trusted friends. I verified it was me and it said it would send an email with a link to click on. I get the email and there's no link, just a code it's telling me to enter, but there's no where to enter a code. Anyone know how to get out of this or does anyone know how to contact someone in Facebook that can help?

G+_Ben Reese
And the related email.
G+_David Wiggins
I know a lot of email providers mark anything related to passwords as spam or phishing, so check your spam folder. Also, while you are at it, make sure the certificate in the reset web page is for Facebook.com, not something like Facebook.com.security-settings.jakv.se Make sure of the same for the link in the email. Right click (or long press if on mobile) and select copy link address (or copy link target). Paste that somewhere and make sure it's really a Facebook.com/whatever/goes/here From there it should start asking thinks like when you started using Facebook and security questions, phone number or whatever. Sorry about the paranoid suggestions, and I hope it helps.
G+_Dave Salvatore
Good suggestions and I had done all. Still nothing and it's almost a week. This is a known issue. I have found people referring to this problem since 2013. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to contact Facebook customer service.
G+_David Wiggins
You may have to try the unthinkable- taking to an actual person on the customer service line. And the odds of that succeeding vary from rep to rep.
G+_Dave Salvatore
I would be more than happy to talk to someone if there was a phone number posted somewhere but I can't find one anywhere. I've even tried reaching out to FB employees on Twitter and Linked in and have received no responses.
