G+_Francesco V
Hi Padre and Brian, Would like to watch a future episode of Know How that shows how to create a drone using a Raspberry Pi either 2nd or 3rd generation. If it was already done which episode was it? Or could be a rehash episode.
G+_Eddie Foy
Why? You mean the Pi as the flight controller or as a add-on? As a FC, it will still need a lot of external hardware adding un-needed weight.
G+_Eddie Foy
Now as an add-on for 'War-Flying' or the like I dig.
G+_Jason Perry
A Pi isn't as responsive as an Arduino which is why you don't usually see them in builds. But as Eddie Foy? mentioned, as an accessory there is quite the potential, and I would love to see that episode.
G+_Dan Hockey
This has been done with the BBB. But the BBB has 2 PRU's which are kind of like a co processor that can handle the real time stuff. you would need a real time kernel for the pi. It's not impossible, just harder for the pi. G+_Francesco V
Okay. I have a Pi 2nd generation and wanted to see if it was able to be done.
