I purchased the Zeny soldering station recommended by PadreSJ and it's worked great until now. The heating element for the soldering iron broke and I don't know where to get a replacement. Does anybody know a good source of parts for this soldering station?

I have the same unit but so far have not tried the soldering iron.

 

I did a little bit of browsing on eBay and found the following whole Soldering Iron which sure looks like the correct model.

 

I hope this info helps. It sure seems inexpensive enough ($3.49US).

I got a response back from Zeny but they weren't very helpful. Here is their response:

So sorry to hear that the soldering iron no longer works because the ceramic heating element is broken.

 

Regarding this issue, it need to replace the soldering iron's heating core.

 

So sorry that we don't these parts in our store.

Wow - What horrible customer support. This does not bode well for any Zeny customers.

Thank you for keeping us posted on your results - at least they responded to you and did not ignore or keep you hanging.

Sounds like the eBay route may be your only solution.
