G+_Alex Hulinsky
So I'm thinking of getting a new phone, and I want to try android. I'm thinking of the LG G4, and Motorola Droid Turbo. What do you guys think?
G+_Bostjan Cadej
I recomend ONLY nexus devices. Due to sw updates.
G+_Michael Olsen
Agreed Nexus only.
G+_Alan Burbol
I'm a fan of the Nexus line also, but I also have a Turbo (for work) and it is really nice considering it isn't as open to do what a Nexus can.
G+_Micael Ebbmar
Unfortunately the Nexus phones have sub par cameras. If it's not an issue go for the Nexus 5 (if it's still available). Unfortunately the Nexus 6 is priced way too high, IMHO.
G+_John Mink
I have the LG G4 on VZW, haven't tried the Droid Turbo. I'm 100% a fan of the G4. The hardware is awesome (good screen, removable battery & SD card, awesome camera, it's just a good phone) The camera is great, even if you just use auto mode. I'm still running stock so the UI is a bit weird but I don't find it bad overall. Obviously updates will basically not exist cause VZW but meh, your call on that. Basically, I'm really happy with it. G+_E. Matt Armstrong
I'm going to think of this every time someone ask about what phone to get.
G+_Shaun Snee
Either phone should work well; and if you get them through Verizon, they will have similar bloatware. I suggest going into a store and playing with each of them for a while.
G+_Bostjan Cadej
Totaly agreed with Edward. There is no perfect smart phone
G+_Ben Yanke
The one plus one has fantastic battery, performance, and storage for the price.
G+_Ben Reese
Yeah, Edward Armstrong?'s MKBHD video really nails it. I like what LG has done with their phones. They're trying hard to compete with everyone else. Samsung has a great track record of good phones, so you can't really go wrong. HTC gives you the keys and instructions to root your phone (or at least they used to. Haven't check for the M9. Also, may not apply to Verizon since they've been known to lock down the phones more.) Motorola is a big name that has really focused on affordable phones. Either Motorola or One Plus (maybe Nexus) would be about the only brands to consider if you're on a budget. G+_Matthew Bowe
The absolute best bang for buck right now is the G4. The phone is amazing.
