Hey guys at my work we're think of selling some old phones, iPhone 4, 5S, and some Motorola Droid RAZR MAXXs. What is the best way to get the most money, while making sure they won't try to hack the data out of them?

I don't if you'd get more on Gazelle or selling private party. To make sure your data is securely wiped, I don't know that I would even trust Gazelle. Surely they have a good process, but I don't know what that would be. For Android, there are apps on the Play Store that claim to work, but one of the best methods I've heard of is to enable encryption on the phone then do a factory reset. Seems you'd also want to fill up the internal memory after setting encryption to make sure there aren't any bits unchanged.

 

But, yeah.... Easiest answer is Gazelle ?
