I've been using a buffalo wzr300 HP. Also has ddwrt loaded from manufacturer. It's a nice inexpensive replacement. Replaced my old wrt56GS

The WRT1900AC spec list looks incredible - but the price looks a wee bit steep for me.

Anybody have any good choices for those of us who just want to have a play with routers/networking/DD-WRT etc?
