Nick Michaelsen the thing is that with android and now windows phone 8 it is much easier to create a separate account our use apps to have a kids only zone not so much for ios you guys benefit though because you have a wider selection of quality kids apps

You are right - I forgot. Still you can disable some things (only certain apps, locks etc.) in iOS for kids. Just never had the time to study it and do so.

When my son was small I gave him an old calculator to play with, calling it a computer. After a couple months he asked to play with the "computer". I handed him the calculator and he gave it back saying, "No, the one with the letters." You may find the same scenario playing out.
