G+_Philippe Aubuchon
I'm working on a project that requires me to post audio files to google drive. It's been working well but now my client is using IOS on iPhone. I've tried two free apps to handle the files with less than acceptable results. Here's the question. What is the best application (free or paid) or work around to steam or handle audio files from google drive in IOS on iPhone? Thanks
G+_Philippe Aubuchon
If it's the official Google drive app then yes. That was how I discovered the problem. It displays the files but it will not play them.
G+_Philippe Aubuchon
You are correct however, on Android you can play seamlessly off google drive. There are many apps for IOS that address this limitation But I'm looking for a good one. The two I've tried were not good.
G+_Jason Marsh
I used to download and play music from my home NAS. I tried several iOS apps, but every one I tried was "download, then play". No streaming. That was five or six years ago, and I no longer have the apps I'd used. Something similar to this might help, but since I only have legacy iOS devices I can't install to test. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/downloader-for-ios-background/id835382053?mt=8 "Downloads Lite" is one of the apps I'd used. Of course, like all the apps with a "lite" version, there is also a paid version. I don't remember exactly how the UX was, but I stuck with that one until my ISP started to cut me off regularly for running a server at home.
