G+_Larry Carbaugh
I have an old HP computer with an 750G hard drive and I believe it will not be to long before she dies on me and I have no back up. I am thinking of adding an external hard drive. Any subjection? It is an HP p6267c and it has been running 24/7 since 2007.
G+_Ben Reese
Could always clone that drive to a new 1 TB then store the old one away. External drive are a good and easy way to backup though. I'm pretty happy with CrashPlan so far, but haven't needed to recover any data yet. To this point I've only used internal drives for storage, but I also keep the side off my computer most of the time... Any internal drive could be external lol. G+_Michael Heinz
An external drive will be easier, but slow. An internal drive would be much faster for making a back up, if you have space for a second bay.
