G+_Jason Phillips
NewTab Tablet and Phone. I would love to know what you all think of this. All comments are welcome. This will be my new phone. I will use it on T-Mobile. The reason for getting this is 1. I am on Verizon and they're too much $$$ 2. Not working right now 3. Not able to take my iPhone 4s on to t-Mobile 4. T-Mobile is half the price of Verizon 5. I get advantage of both worlds 1 a cell phone 2 a tablet running lollipop. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0131LEP0A/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_1_1?colid=5ZHFF0KIYNTZ&coliid=I2ZPXR0V0PI0SE
G+_Steve C
I don't know about that one but it looks a lot better than the $50 Amazon fire tablet. I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on sale at Frys for $199 that I use on T-Mobile and it works great. If you want a really cheap phone due to being out of work get a used AT&T Blackberry at Goodwill or a swapmeet for $5 and they work ok on T-Mobile also. If you get T-Mobile for $30/mo won't it be 1/3 the price of Verizon?
G+_Ben Reese
Sounds like a pretty neat idea. I take a lot of my calls on Bluetooth anyhow, so this wouldn't be that different. Just might be a bit awkward to carry around. You might also check Walmart. I found a phone in clearance for $20 with about the same specs.

G+_richard andresen
If you don't mind so so call quality (some times excellent some times not) and limited minutes you can get free phone service from Freedompop. I have the mifi and the optimus f3. They have refurbished phones for 20-30 bucks (and up) or you can find a sprint phone and have it transferred to Freedompop. They also have additional options if you insist on paying. You get 200 minutes talk. 500 message's (no pictures in text) and 500mb data free. Did I mention it's free. You can have several devices but you need a separate email for each account. I'm adding my ipad air as soon as my sprint contract is up on it. G+_Steve C
Freedonpop tends to be hit or miss though so check to see if they have service in your area first. Sprint doesn't even work in my area of Phoenix so that's a no-go here.
G+_Jason Phillips
T-Mobile works really well in Southern California
G+_Steve C
T-Mobile works well here in Phoenix too but they don't have coverage in smaller towns, along the freeways or out in the country which can be a problem if you travel a lot or don't live and work in town. I recently drove cross country to Brownsville, Tx and after leaving Tucson I couldn't get a signal on T-Mobile again until I got all the way across Texas to San Antonio! You'd think they would have service in Ft. Stockton half way across Texas since everyone stops there for the night but no.
