G+_Ken H
Very interesting app here. Lets you start a share using ultrasound and from there chooses between ultrasound, Bluetooth Low Energy, or WiFi to perform the actual transfer (whichever is the best at the moment). It's uses of Android's Nearby API to achieve this I'm not sure I have a use case for it myself but thought I'd share this Originally shared by Nam Nghiem What's up guys? I'd like to share with you guys my first app where i design it with Material design in mind since the start, Radon. (There are more screenshots with material in the Google Play store page) It allows you to beam links and videos to anyone nearby using ultrasound. That means - You don't need NFC - Many people can receive a beam, not just one at a time - No need to pair or tap - No need to be on the same network I'd love it if you would try it out! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nam.radon.app
G+_L I
Pro: Broadcast-like beam means anyone nearby can receive the link. Con: can only send links.
