Can anyone recommend a SSD Drive for a lenova y560p,I also was trying to determine if I could have both drives.

When you refer to "both drives" you mean the main hard drive and converting the disc drive?

 

As for SSDs, I have an Intel (thinkpad x220), but Kingston makes some nice ones too for the price - the Kingston KC series are nice.

Yes, the SSD would host the OS, then spin disk would keep working files.

I put my old HDD in a caddy to replace the optical drive, but the first one was too thick  (12.7mm)even though the description had my laptop listed.  I bought the thinner caddy (9.5mm) and it works well.  Be sure to read the specs for your system.  Now I have a 240GB Kingston SSD AND a 1 TB HDD.
