G+_Joseph Politi
What 3D printer do you guys recommend for around $500? I wanted to get started in 3D printing but don't want to spend over a $1000 to get started. Someone recommended the Delta printr to me. Any good? The $500 is a ballpark number. I just want to start doing some of the projects on KH and fix some of the toys my 5 and 4 year old break lol http://deltaprintr.com/delta-go/
G+_Carlton Dodd
Printrbots are good. You can get an assembled Simple for $600. https://printrbot.com/shop/assembled-simple-metal/I've heard the Monoprice printer isn't terrible for $200. http://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=107&cp_id=10724&cs_id=1072403&p_id=15365&seq=1&format=2 You won't have top-notch prints, and you may need to tinker with it a lot, but it's a cheap way to dip your toes into the hobby. EDIT: Yes, I've heard good things about the Delta Go.
G+_Steve C
If you want to start out with a small one for $179 check out the Tico. YouTube videos say they still have some issues with software but the hardware seems to be working OK. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tiko3d/tiko-the-unibody-3d-printer
