G+_Kent Smith
Does anyone have experience using LastPass on Android? I use it with chrome on my PC and really like it. But I'm hesitant to use it on Android sit appears you need to use their browser. And I don't think the app works directly with the other apps so you are still manually entering the passwords into apps, which isn't too bad. Also if anyone has feedback about integrating Google two factor authentication with it I would be curious.
G+_Mark Rodriguez (ISTJ Ge
Dolphin browser has a lastpass addon. Works great/fluidly
G+_Tim Davis
I'm curious to see how Lastpass and Google Authenticator work together regarding Lastpass for Android. I, like Kent Smith , only use Lastpass on Chrome for desktop right now.
G+_Yves Dionne
There is an option in LastPass to copy the password and username in the notification area when you select it. So when I browse to a site in chrome and it asks for a password, a copy paste from the notification area. Or there is an option to set LastPass as a keyboard, but I prefer the notification area trick.
G+_Malik Bennett
I use the Google Authenticator to log into LastPass on my desktop, and use the "Add copy notifications" on my mobile. It's great because the tab for entering the Google Auth code pops up when I open the browser, but if that tab is closed it reverts to asking for the full password. I use a gingerbread based ROM and the LastPass keyboard stopped working so well a few updates ago (eating up internal memory), but being able to copy from the notification area was always better, anyway. Just remember to copy and enter the password first, so your username is what is left in the clipboard. Very worth it for me, especially because all of my passwords are so hairy. G+_Ed Reilly
I use it on the Nexus 7 with Dolphin's addon, but I don't have a default browser set, so I can just choose Lastpass's when click on a link from their vault and going to my bank's site, for instance. G+_Kent Smith
Thanks for the feedback. I don't seem to go to many sites on my browser on my phone where I would need this, but I think it could be handy in my nexus 10. I think I may have to try it out and just see. G+_Elix Perth
The LastPass browser can occasionally be brainless on some sites that use newer web 2.0 types of features, especially in text input areas. However, it gets the job done most of the time.
G+_Seth Goldstein
I love Lastpass for Android. I don't like their own browser. I use Chrome and I just cut and paste.
G+_Tom Gehrke
I use the Google Authenticator with LastPass. Never had any issues with it on on desktop or phone. The LastPass browser on phones stinks (both iOS and Android). However, as Mark Rodriguez mentioned, the Dolphin browser is a great option for Android users. I use Chrome for standard browsing and Dolphin + LastPass addon for "secure" browsing. If Chrome didn't synch so well with the desktop and Google services, I'd probably use Dolphin for everything. G+_Jason Fleisher
Tom Gehrke Dolphin's browser sync works about as well as Chrome's if you don't mind adding the desktop dolphin sync plugin to chrome on the desktop.
G+_Tom Andreasen
Well worth the cost. I use it daily. It could be a bit more intuitive, but I've successfully changed all my passwords and use the copy password feature on the go all the time.
G+_Tom Gehrke
Jason Fleisher Whaaaat?! I missed that option. Going to go do that right now. Thanks!
