G+_Kent Smith
I'm having an issue with my Galaxy Nexus where it keeps thinking I am two hours away from where I am. I'm on WiFi and. Verizon network extender for cellular. If I load up maps it will find my correct location quickly but when I close maps it will flip back to the wrong location in a matter of minutes. I started using a new router at Christmas but I think this issue started within the last week or two. Used to have this issue a couple of years ago but it seemed to correct itself. Any ideas? G+_Keith Nelson
Try disabling the use cell network and wifi option under location settings. This will leave you relying on GPS alone for location information. It will probably be a bit of a drain on your battery and take longer to get a location lock but at least it won't be totally wrong about where you are. G+_Kent Smith
I was wondering the same thing +Jon Labbe. I haven't noticed issues when away from home. The extender is plugged into home Internet after the router. It seems to be working now those maybe it was an issue of how one of those devices was reporting it's location.
