Ok looking through some of the posts I realize there are a lot of knowledgeable people here. Generally speaking I am very new to this. I do need some advice. I have a galaxy tab3 10.1 inch that I bought 2 years ago for my son. He doesn't use it anymore and we want to repurpose it for... something. What kinds of things can I do with this piece of technology? Thank you in advance.

Although I am not 100% familiar with the Galaxy Tab 3 specs, I would most likely use it for something kitchen (or any other room like an office or workout room). For example, mount it on a convenient wall and connect it to Bluetooth speakers to watch Netflix while cooking. Or look up recipes. Or listen to Pandora. Hope this helps.

A few ideas...

•Use a magnetic case and mount it it as a smart calendar on the fridge

•Install Server Ultimate and use it as a web server

•Security cam monitor

•Smart home hub

•I think it has IR, so a TV remote you almost can't lose

•Mount it in the car for car PC (Bluetooth OBD2 + Torque Pro app is pretty awesome!)

You could also use it as a microcomputer for any project you want. You just get root access and you can reprogram it in any way you want.
