G+_Harry Henze
Looking for a gift for my daughter. She wants top down video while she draws. I am getting her a small drafting table, but looking for ideas for lighting and cell phone mounts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is a link to her page, in case I’m being confusing. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQZOr-AhWHroicm7l9K0TWg https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQZOr-AhWHroicm7l9K0TWg
G+_David Peach
I'm considering the same for my daughter. I haven't explored how to mount it, but I have a cheap action cam that does great photos for timelapse. Wide angle so it can be fairly close to the work. Shoots a picture every n seconds. The nice thing about the camera is that I can mount it at the top of the workspace (upside down) and it will flip the images automatically. I don't have to manipulate anything before turning it into the video. And never have to worry about a phone call interrupting the photo capture. Curious as to the suggestions to follow. G+_Ben Reese
I've been shopping for a desk-mounted boom mic stand for my brother. This looks identical to the mic arms I've seen. Not sure if it will tilt enough to point the camera down, but the general idea should work.
