G+_Chris Taylor
Why does Google think I've been cycling? I haven't, is it getting confused with my jogging?
G+_Joseph Cappellino
This seems to be a bug. It's happened to a lot of people, myself included.

G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
If you're going at cycling speed, it assumes you're cycling. I haven't cycled in way too long, and I don't drive, and I haven't been on the bus in at least a year. But there have been some recent months when Google Now thinks I was cycling. When I thought about it, I realized that must have been when I got a lift from someone.
G+_James Fridley
Would love if they worked on this and made it more reliable
G+_Apollo Lemmon
It didn't register most of my activity at all, which was frustrating. I've liked the accounting of my walking and other movement, so I was very disappointed to see this month's report failing.
G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
Mine shows that I walked 4 miles more last month than in June. And the total is about right.
G+_Chris Taylor
To be fair I only turned it on a few weeks ago. Google need to do a better job of advertising these features.

G+_Jerry Ham
The feature is pretty useless. It said I have walked 9 miles in July. However, I walked 8 miles on the 25th and 5 miles on the 29th - and did similar amounts on other days. The problem is that they are just using "location reports" - and Google doesn't do these reliably or often enough. The cycling was probably something like driving in a slower area like downtown.
