G+_Stephen Hart Posted March 15, 2016 Share Posted March 15, 2016 If you are doing a multimeter segment - here is a thing to do: Set the multimeter to Resistance mode and connect the alligator clips or whatever you are using. It should have a resistance of 0.1 ohms or less. Sometimes it is 1 or 2 ohms, which will mess up your readings. This might be because the alligator is crimped instead of soldered to the wire. If it is high resistance try soldering it to lower the resistance. Check the resistance of any cables you use to charge batteries - they should be 0.1 ohms or less.
