Hey guys. New to Twit Kh and want to start the 250 build. Attempting to go back and watch all the old quad videos before I start. I am wondering if there is a big difference in the 2204 and 2208 motor flight times and speed. Also what size of battery do you prefer to allow maximum flight times without comprising much speed?

 

I'll also take any advise you have from your own builds.

I run both 2204 and 2208 motors. Not much difference in flight times, but there's a little extra power in the 2208 at the top of the throttle range.

 

If you want CRAZY power, then go for a 1600mAh 4s 40c battery. That thing will absolutely SCREAM! :)

 

Also, the KH250 was a multi-purpose build. If you want something that's a bit faster, then get 20amp "HUG" ESCs. That'll drop about 100g off your frame.
