G+_Christopher Seieroe
I use the TWiT Pro app to download and watch a lot of TWiT shows, the developer crippled it. Just a warning to those who use that app and haven't updated it yet, DON'T. All the show feeds are gone so you can't download any episodes. Anyone know why he did that? ? G+_Roberto Giunta
As he states in the app description TWIT seems to develop their own app. Why they don't just let it work until they release their owns apps instead of just ending support for the existing one? I don't know. ? Does someone have the old version of the app installed and can upload it somewhere? I updated it seconds before reading that they ended support for it. G+_Joe Furniss
He said it was because twit is making their own app but that was 6 months. He removed the app from the app store around 6 months ago but it had not been updated since the beginning of 2015. Thought he was just going to leave it alone but He must have decided to make it useless and just gotten around to crippling the app?.?

G+_Christopher Seieroe
I understand if he wants to stop working on it, you can prevent new installs from the Play Store, but allows those who had it to keep it. But I don't understand why he'd update it to actively cripple it.
G+_Joe Furniss
Christopher Seieroe? he also did it to his twit cast app as well yesterday. For twit pro?? just use the version I provided above? and tell me what you think?
G+_Joe Furniss
I did some updating to the app. I updated the album art of AAA, TNT, and TWiG. Changed the album art of iOS Today from the iPad Today album art to the current iOS Today album art and also changed the name to iOS Today. Added "..." to the name of Know How. Fixed the spelling error in the This Week in Enterprise Tech name, he forgot the “r” in enterprise. Added TWiT Bits to the list of shows. Changed the all shows album art to the official TWiT all shows album art. And removed old shows.?
G+_Gary Volk
Roberto Giunta this is why I use an app called "app backup and restore" by apex apps. Allows me to go back to previous version when something gets messed up in an update. Doesn't save apps data but for most apps not really an issue. G+_Joe Furniss
Here is the new version of the app. I based it on the crippled version of the app. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx1_H74foOz8LVdUZXJscmtRdnc/view it will install over the version I posted earlier I found out that it was just a few lines of code he put in to cripple the app. I removed that code and then added the changes I did to the version that was not crippled. G+_Joe Furniss
This app never had Chromecast support he had another twit app that was only for Chromecast but it does not work anymore because he crippled it. I would recommend you use twitch to watch twit.TV as twitch supports Chromecast?
