So all parts are ordered, should have arrived by now but my wife somehow messed the first order up, just one question, should i get the fly sky fs-t6??  I have it on the way, i cant afford a 2 or 3 hundred dollar radio atm, but i read some comments here and other places that made me question going with this radio.  any input is appreciated, im sure ill have plenty of questions once everything arrives!!

The radio is fine... Great for beginners. The new version is better of you can find it.

I loved my FlySky, I tried the Turnigy 9x and hated it. The FlySky is great if your on a budget. The receiver is nice and compact, and you don't need to be an expert to program it.

 

I recently upgraded to a Taranis, and it's got a bit of a learning curve, but is so much more versatile. Everyone is raving about telemetry, and it's great, but a good LiPo alarm/buzzer for voltage, and staying in line of sight is all you need.
