G+_Heath Reeder
Help please so I powered up quad for first time using kk 2.1, everything seemed to come on correct and I did the receiver test first, it worked, but then I tried to hold throttle down and to the left to see if motor spin correct but controller keeps beeping and does nothing. My esc all beep as well they will take turns beeping then stop for few seconds them beep again. No clue what is wrong or what to do
G+_Heath Reeder
Also the best I can tell only 3 esc are beeping, I wonder if these are ones that need the red wire cut on 3 of them
G+_Michael Heinz
Down and left is "SAFE" mode. Down and *right* is Armed. The beeping is actually a great way to find your quad if it gets lost in tall grass or up a tree.
G+_Michael Heinz
Also - the KK won't arm if the transmitter wasn't turned on before you turned on the KK. Finally, go back to the receiver test and make sure your throttle goes all the way to zero and that the rudder control is working correctly. G+_Heath Reeder
I did all these things, but I will go back to the receiver test and check that
G+_Heath Reeder
ok i dunno what i did but i keep messing with it and all the sudden it armed, but is there a way to test an esc? one of my motors isnt turning, its not the motor because i hoooked up another esc and the motor spins. i guess i could take the bullets off the end of the esc to make sure one of those arent loose
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Pics always help. -- Take a bunch of your connections, flight controller, bullets, motors, etc. -- It's hard to diagnose without seeing it.
G+_Heath Reeder
I ordered replacement, I hooked the esc to another motor as a it didn't work and went over all the connection again. I'll hook up the replacement as long as I get the kk working now
