Robert Ballecer, SJ recomended on know how. the barn is only about 100 yards as the crow flies but there are trees in line of sight, would this still work?? or is there a better solution anyone knows of.

Not to discredit the host, I'd probably feel more comfortable with Ubiquiti gear just because I've had good experience with other products from the brand.

There's at least one review on this claiming to beam Wi-Fi 2,000 FT with pine trees in the way. Your milage may vary. Generally trees are bad for Wi-Fi since trees hold water and water kills high-frequency signals.

 

 

Either option looks great and should be sufficient for your needs.
