G+_Naman Gupta
I have a kind of an enterprise network which requires me to sign in to a login page(after I have connected to the Wi-Fi network) in order to gain access to the internet. That creates a problem that I can't access internet on devices that do not have a browser like a chromecast. I wanted to know if there is a way to configure my router to do that for me, so that I can get internet as soon as I connect to my WiFi network. (The login credentials are the same as the credentials for the Wi-Fi network. WiFi Security : WPA2-Enterprise)
G+_David Wiggins
If you are in control of the access point, I would recommend adding the Chromecast's MAC address to a list of devices excluded from the captive portal. If not, you may need to get the admin to do it for you.
G+_Naman Gupta
This problem is not just limited to WiFi, even if I have to access Internet from a PC, I have to go through the portal (but that is less of an issue since I can get browser access). Is it possible for me to configure a different router to exclude the MAC address of Chromecast.
