My Quad built from spares and used parts ( cause I can't afford new) finally after many rebuilds and superglue jobs , has died ?. REMEMBER TO CHECK PROPS ARE TIGHT!

Yep I've been there! It was like my quad got clipped by a low hanging wire

Any ideas for a new build? Mainly for aerial photography with a gimbal to find those hiding cows? Was thinking a HEX but budget is an issue ?

I'm surprised the cattle didn't react more to the sound of the quad-copter. We get hot air balloons in our area. They are so quiet until the burner turns on which spooks the cattle.

As to loose props ..been there.
