G+_Mikael Eidsvaag
So I have Dazzle capture card. They are ok, they are let down by the software that comes with it. The software are design only for converting RCA signal to DVD. And the quality of the video are very bad. But I tried my dazzle with VLC and the picture quality improved. I tried to save/convert option in VLC but the audio fell out of sync after 5 min. does any baddy have suggestion for a free capturing software that will work with my dazzle? Also if anybody is thinks of converting old family VHS tapes or another tape format…. The tapes “signal” only last for about 15 years. After that the signal is degrading. G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
We did a Know How on this problem back in episode 71. One thing to be ready for is how BAD vhs tapes look, even when they're in good condition. We've gotten used to 1080p being the standard... when you you step back to 320x240, it looks... well... bad. :(
