G+_Peg Ritchie
Does anyone know what error 192 is? I was trying to download the update to chrome on my Galaxy Discover when it came up.
G+_Greg Epps
Something is corrupt in the play store's data on your phone. Clear the Play Store's cache and data, reboot and try again. If that doesn't work you'll have to take a more drastic step. Clear the cache and data again, but before rebooting the second time delete your gmail account from the phone. Re-add it after the reboot.
G+_Peg Ritchie
Greg Epps Thankyou very much. Trying it right now...
G+_Peg Ritchie
Greg Epps I cleared the cache and data, rebooted, no joy. Ran a scan, found no threats. Then it occurred to me to check storage. Things were getting pretty tight inside and out, so I uninstalled a couple of big apps, downloaded all of my updates, then reinstalled two most treasured apps, and, don't ask me why, it worked! Clearly, your guidance got me there, even though I didn't exactly follow your directions. So thankyou so much for the help. My service carrier just went 4g, so I have to get a new phone anyway. I'm looking at the Moto X with quad-core. Any thoughts?
G+_Greg Epps
I'm still using a GS3 on a small regional carrier without 4g. But, I've played with the Moto X and GS5. I say both are great and it will be a tough choice I have to make when I upgrade.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Peg Ritchie - First, the MotoX is a great device. I just got to play with my friend's GS5 and it felt a little sluggish (versus my wife's MotoX). And, just to clarify, the MotoX has a dual core CPU, 3 (or 4, I can't recall off hand) core GPU, and additional processors for contextual data (i.e. - gyro/accelerometer for Active Display, and DSP for Touchless Controls, etc). G+_Peg Ritchie
Joseph Cappellino Just to correct myself, the phone I saw (and will pick up today) is a newer version of the moto G that has improved to 4G LTE with quad core. It also has front and back cameras a d will shoot 360 degree panorama. I can hardly wait to get my hands on it.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Peg Ritchie - That's a great phone, too. You don't get everything the MotoX has, but who can really complain at the price point. Especially now that it has LTE! Enjoy!
