G+_Stewart Ellis (iColonia
I've encountered this problem at the office for 1 site that is returning this error and other times I'm able to log into site. After clicking to continuing thru to site, receive 404 error. Checking the Certificate returns a mis-matched Certificate. Keep in mind I'm able to access other identical internal secure sites, using same domain Certificate, it is just this one specific site returning error. My peers are also encountering this error, not sure what they have done but issue persists for everyone. Have tried the following in various sequences with-out any success: Completely cleared cache of every option for IE 8 (needed to support clients on old versions of apps), Chrome, and Firefox Removed the site's offending certificate Re-installed Certificate Reboot laptop Happening on only one, out of 100s of sites, Not sure ifs restarting the service would help, but will do that today. One note: not sure if it's relevant - Our IT dept was not supposed to upgrade IE 10, but they did anyway. Had to uninstall 10, and at one point, previously had to uninstall IE 9.
