G+_Gregg Ordon
Looking to buy a 3d Printer. Need some help with picking out which one. I have seen a lot of different reviews on the XYZ printers both good and both REALLY bad. My Budget is $800 - $900. What would you all recommend? G+_Eddie Foy
I'm probably odd man out on this, but I like the rep-raps Open source, in constant dev. Most parts hardware store or printable. Electronics (RAMPS) from china are cheap (if ya can wait) I got mine (prusa) from MakerFarm and quite happy with those guys. I'm moving to the all metal hotends. The PEEK are so-so. Keep in mind you will calibrate any machine you get for quite some time. But should get OK prints fairly quick. Johnny Xmas on Twitter seems to have some serious issues with his Makerbot and Z height.
G+_Larry Havenstein
That Robo3D looks pretty cool. Have you guys tried the new Windows 10 3D printing tool yet?
G+_Gregg Ordon
I don't mind so much the proprietary filament from XYZ. The robo was another I was actually looking at as well.
G+_Carlton Dodd
I recommend Printerbot every time. Great products from a company that consistently does the right thing for its customers and the community.
G+_Eddie Foy
Every time I see a printbot printing, its s*l*o*w.
G+_James Hughes
I have an xyz davinci. It took a little tweaking to get the bed level. I also made one of the filament resetters. But what was mentioned earlier about being able to trouble shoot is an important skill to have.
