Well my Dremel 3d Printer arrived today. Opening the box and setting it up. I noticed there were some screws loose (4 of them to be exact) After calling up dremel. I had to send them photos of the screws for them to Identify what they were. Also I had issues with the Unit powering on. It would but but none of the menus were working at all.

Calling tech support revealed some issues with the TF card(Micro-SD card that is in the bottom of the printer was not seated properly. The hot glue was in the way of it being seated. You would think that all this stuff would be taken care of. I don't mind tinkering at all but I spent most of the day trying to figure this out. Just posting this in case others get this printer and have some issues. Attached are photos.

I stumbled over another 3D printer maker that looks just like the Dremel but it had features that were missing in the Dremel but places existed for the items.  So Dremel may be outsourcing this printer.    The Flashforge Dreamer sure looks like the same cabinet and layout.   http://www.flashforge-usa.com/shop/3d-printers/flashforge-dreamer-dual-extrusion-3d-printer.html

https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/2hg1eu/ama_with_dremel_3d_idea_builder_team/

"Dremel looked to partner with several strong partners in the 3D printer space. The Dremel team spent many months and hours working with our partners to design and develop the best printer, software, and ecosystem for 3D printing.

The Idea Builder has many unique features that separate from current printers on the market. The team worked tirelessly to UL certify our printer, create an easy to use interface, and quality test all components to the Bosch standards. The engineering, product development, software, firmware and support were all designed and implemented by the same Dremel team that develops all of our quality Dremel tools."

They neither confirm or deny, but it is an obvious reduced (no ABS, no wifi, single spool) copy in many respects with some improvements (UL certified, different housing material, bearings, fans, motors, removable build plate, electronic board layout, ARM microprocessor,

new extruder head design, 1 year warranty and live Dremel support).
